Michele Chisholm comes from a long line of civil rights and union activist. She is a senior copyright specialist in the Copyright Office. She has been an active member of AFSCME since 1992. As the Guild’s 3rd Vice President-for-Committees, she administers appointments and oversees the participation of employee representatives to 17 Library-wide management and employee working groups.

Michele has represented the Guild on several Library of Congress work initiatives including the Mentoring Advisory Board, the DC Labor-to-Youth Job Fair, and the Federal Women’s Program. Michele also served for several years as 2nd Vice President-for-Membership.
